Robinson is accused of killing Kirk on September 12th, 2025, at Utah Valley University, and prosecutors in Utah are pursuing the death penalty against him, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox. Previous reports indicated that Robinson allegedly held antifascist sentiments, reportedly supported by bullet engravings found at the scene. Federal law enforcement sources had previously stated Robinson admitted to his father that he was the individual in photos released by authorities.
