A United States Secret Service agent is accused of attempting to smuggle his wife onto a Secret Service plane accompanying President Trump's security detail to Scotland. The incident occurred as the President traveled to Scotland for an upcoming meeting. Five Secret Service sources informed [@RCPolitics](https://twitter.com/RCPolitics) of the alleged breach. The Dallas-based agent reportedly flew his wife to Maryland, where she received an official Secret Service country brief at a hotel and rode on the official bus to the distinguished visitor lounge at Joint Base Andrews. She was discovered and instructed to leave before the plane departed. Memes referencing the incident are reportedly circulating. President Trump is scheduled to meet with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, on Sunday to finalize an EU-US trade deal. Separately, a new poll released by WSJ (Fabrizio/Impact) between July 16-20 indicates that the Republican Party has a 43% favorability rating compared to the Democratic Party's 33%.
