Tyler Robinson, 22, is accused of Kirk's assassination at Utah Valley University. Prosecutors in Utah are pursuing the death penalty against Robinson, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox. Sources previously indicated Robinson may have possessed the skill for a long-distance shot from an elevated perch. Federal law enforcement sources stated Robinson admitted to his father that he was the individual in photos released by authorities.
