According to NAGR, the "straw that broke the camel's back" was Bondi convincing a federal judge this week to demand the member lists of two national Second Amendment advocacy organizations. NAGR reported that Bondi's Department of Justice (DOJ) successfully obtained a court order for these gun groups to "HAND OVER THEIR MEMBERS’ PRIVATE INFORMATION to the federal government," which would include names, addresses, and contact information.
