The National Association for Gun Rights (NAGR) is officially calling for the immediate termination of Attorney General Pam Bondi, citing her performance over the past nine months since her confirmation. NAGR stated in an X post today, October 12th, 2025, that Bondi has failed to be a staunch advocate for the Second Amendment, leaving them with no choice but to demand her firing. The organization's stance was detailed across multiple X posts, including one at 10:46 AM UTC. According to NAGR, the "straw that broke the camel's back" was Bondi convincing a federal judge this week to demand the member lists of two national Second Amendment advocacy organizations. NAGR reported that Bondi's Department of Justice (DOJ) successfully obtained a court order for these gun groups to "HAND OVER THEIR MEMBERS’ PRIVATE INFORMATION to the federal government," which would include names, addresses, and contact information. Separately, Vance Ulrich shared an update on X at 12:02 PM UTC, citing [@Political_Data], that California is currently at 96% of its 2021 recall turnout. This level of engagement has not been seen since the 2021 recall, with the exception of the 2024 Presidential General election. The Ballot Tracker from earlier today showed 265,000 returns compared to 299,000 at the same point in the 2021 recall.
