The team searched the entire northwest Venezuelan coastal strip known as Alta Guajira and noted the changes as a black smudge on Sentinel 2 imagery, as stated by @FaytuksNetwork, who tagged OSINT accounts including @Osinttechnical, @ianellisjones, and @TheIntelFrog for further analysis. In a separate post shared in the same period, X user @AirAssets stated "Not gonna happen tonite...I'm off to bed. Sleep well my friends tomorrows another day," indicating no strikes expected overnight. These updates follow U.S.-Venezuela tensions from President Donald Trump's declassification earlier on December 31 of a CIA attack inside Venezuela on December 24, according to U.S. officials cited by The Wall Street Journal in prior reports.
