This development follows Venezuela's report from September 12th, accusing the USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109) of assaulting its fishing vessel "Carmen Rosa" within Venezuela's exclusive economic zone. The Venezuelan ship, carrying nine fishermen, was allegedly attacked approximately 48 nautical miles northeast of La Blanquilla Island. This accusation was also reported by AlertaNews24 on X.
