Venezuelan intelligence service SEBIN agents kidnapped political scientist and Punto de Corte media director Nicmer Evans while he broadcast live, and an unnamed man from his home in Caracas' Caricuao neighborhood, Plan sector, yesterday, December 13, 2025, according to an X post by @TAMARA_SUJU (https://x.com/TAMARA_SUJU/status/2000166237259673820). Evans was kidnapped for the second time, the post stated. The unnamed victim had returned to Venezuela two days earlier, as reported by @TAMARA_SUJU. @TAMARA_SUJU described the incidents as part of generalized systematic repression under Nicolás Maduro's government.
