Residents of Shiraz protested in front of the Fars provincial governor's office today due to repeated water and electricity outages. Demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Not Gaza, not Lebanon – my life is for Iran" and "The people in thirst and darkness – the officials in comfort and light." The protest, which saw numerous videos and reports shared on social media, reflects growing public frustration over the utility disruptions. Slogans also called for "Freedom, freedom, freedom!" Separately, a military convoy consisting of five Ministry of Defense vehicles was observed traveling on the Homs-Tartous highway towards the Syrian-Lebanese border, according to the Syrian Observatory. In another development, a tweet from the American messenger to Syria, Tom Barak, mentioned Lebanon complimenting and failing to remove weapons, and also removing the Palestine flag.
