These meetings are taking place as Israel has warned of potential military action in Beirut if Hezbollah does not disarm, according to Kan News and Al Arabiya. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) also reported eliminating two Hezbollah operatives earlier on November 3rd. In parallel, U.S. Secretary of War Hegseth had previously warned Iraq on November 3rd, 2025, of imminent regional operations and cautioned against intervention by pro-Iran factions, as stated by the Iraqi Defense Minister.
