Houthi Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi has been reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike in Sana'a today, August 28th. Multiple sources, including security officials and sources in Sana'a speaking to South24, confirmed the development. Pages close to the Al-Rahwi tribe have also published condolence statements. Two sources in Sana'a confirmed to South24 that Al-Rahwi was killed in an Israeli strike that occurred today. Other reports corroborated this, with one source stating the Houthi Prime Minister was killed by an Israeli air strike in Sanaa. Exclusive sources in Sana'a told the South24 Center that one of the Israeli airstrikes targeted the house of second-tier Houthi leader Jamal Zubarah, south of Sana'a. The Houthis have not immediately announced the killing of officials within the group. However, they denied Israeli claims of targeting a meeting of their leadership, with a statement from their political bureau asserting that Israel had failed both militarily and in terms of security. Residents in Sana'a have reported slow internet service and interruptions since this morning. Separately, unconfirmed reports suggest that Brigadier General Yahya Saree will appear in a military statement tomorrow, Friday, indicating potential Israeli bombing.
