Satellite imagery analyzed by @TheGoodISIS indicates Iran is rehabilitating the former Talekan 2 site, a reactor previously part of the Emad nuclear weapons program and destroyed in an Israeli strike in October 2024. Since mid-May 2025, new foundations and support buildings have been constructed at the site, raising concerns about a potential return to sensitive nuclear activities. The rehabilitation efforts, observed since mid-May 2025, include the installation of a temporary black cover over the ruins and the construction of several support buildings. Some of these buildings feature rounded roofs, potentially designed for hardening or top protection if covered with soil. A separate support facility is also being established nearby. The Talekan 2 facility was reportedly not targeted in the "with a dog" operation, according to the report. While the satellite images do not definitively reveal the intended purpose of the restored facility, the fact that it was previously part of a nuclear weapons program is a cause for concern, as stated by the analysis. The report highlights that the new construction is located in an area that could facilitate hidden activities. Separately, forces from the Israeli Defense Forces' 'Mountain' Brigade (810) destroyed positions belonging to Hezbollah in the Mount Dov area in Lebanon earlier this week. The IDF stated these infrastructures were dismantled to prevent future establishment of the terrorist organization in the border region and that they will continue to act against threats to Israel.
