Iran and Russia have signed a $25 billion agreement in Moscow to construct four new nuclear power plants in Iran, according to Iranian news agency Iran. The deal was announced during the reporting window on September 26th, 2025. This development comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to discuss Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs with US President Donald Trump on Monday. An Israeli source told the Jerusalem Post that Iran's attempts to renew these programs will be a key topic of discussion during the meeting. Earlier in the reporting window, the Israel Defense Forces confirmed conducting an airstrike in Lebanon's eastern Beqaa Valley targeting a Hezbollah precision missile manufacturing site. The IDF stated the facility had been struck previously and its existence violated the ceasefire agreement.
