Pakistan conducted precision counterterrorism airstrikes earlier tonight targeting HGB terrorist launchpads in Afghanistan's Paktika province, according to an official statement. The Pakistan Air Force targeted two locations in the Urgun district, stating the strikes preemptively eliminated imminent threats posed by TTP-FAK Khawarij to Pakistan. The Pakistani military also confirmed that over 100 terrorist combatants were killed during counterterrorism operations within Pakistan in the past 48 hours. The airstrikes were reportedly facilitated by the Afghan Taliban, who are accused of enabling continued terrorist attacks in Pakistan during a temporary ceasefire. The statement emphasized that all intended targets were successfully hit and reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to protecting its citizens from terrorism. Separately, Pakistan's Space Agency, SUPARCO, successfully launched its first hyperspectral satellite, the PRSC HS-1, today. The launch took place from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in China, utilizing the Kinetica-1 rocket provided by Chinese satellite launch provider CAS Space.
