Danish police have confirmed they have been unable to trace the operators of unidentified drones that have been observed over Aalborg Airport and military installations, including Skrydstrup air base, home to Denmarkās F-35 fighter jets. National Police Chief Thorkild Fogde stated, "It is always serious when there are unidentifiable objects over military installations." He is reportedly in close contact with the military to assess the security situation. The ongoing investigation into the drones and their operators follows Danish police concluding an operation concerning unidentified drones at Aalborg Airport earlier this morning, September 25th, with air traffic resuming. Authorities previously stated there was no evidence to suggest the drones were private or commercial, according to Nexus OSINT. This situation in Denmark occurs as a U.S. Air Force E-3 AWACS aircraft, designated CACHE 51, departed Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska to monitor unidentified aircraft near the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ). The AWACS was supported by a KC-135R Stratotanker and fighter jets, a deployment reportedly linked to potential Russian aircraft activity in the region. The last confirmed ADIZ intrusion by a Russian Il-20M was on August 26th.
