Copenhagen Airport (CPH) has reopened for operations as of the past 30 minutes, following a four-hour halt due to reported drone sightings near the airport, with flight SK7744 being the first to land. This development comes as Oslo Airport also experienced airspace disruptions due to drone observations, leading to redirected aircraft. According to local officials cited by TV2, the airspace over Copenhagen was closed due to the presence of multiple large drones near the airport. Meanwhile, Avinor contacted police in Oslo in connection with drone observations, resulting in the seizure of one drone by police patrols stationed at the airport. Operations manager Gisle Sveen of the Eastern Police District stated that while the drone has been seized, a pilot has not yet been found, and efforts are underway to locate one. Video footage allegedly showing a drone over Copenhagen Airport on September 22nd, 2025, has been shared online. The previous report indicated that Copenhagen Airport's closure was extended, with operations suspended until at least 07:00 UTC on September 23rd, 2025, due to ongoing drone activity. During the disruption at CPH, approximately 50 flights were canceled and 50 diverted. The prior report also noted that two foreign nationals were arrested in Oslo for illegally operating a drone near Akershus Fortress, a restricted military area, on Monday night.
