A Russian military drone, identified as a Gerbera model with the number "ЫЫ31334", crashed in a field in Maidan Sielec, Poland, approximately 50 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Polish police received a report of the incident around 5:40 p.m. local time on September 6th. The drone was found to have inscriptions indicating pre-flight preparation by Russian personnel, with a "2.09" marking suggesting a combat readiness check on September 2nd. According to a TVN24 source, the property owner discovered the drone by accident around 5:00 p.m. while in the field. Polish officials reported that unknown objects crossed into Polish airspace on the night of September 3rd, coinciding with Russian attacks on western Ukraine. It is believed the Gerbera drone had been in Polish territory since that night. Gerbera drones are capable of carrying warheads with several kilograms of explosives, posing a potential danger.
