In the past 29 minutes, coordinated operations in Culiacan, Sinaloa, and the Sierra de Morones in Zacatecas have led to the dismantling of significant drug production facilities. In Culiacan, authorities discovered 385 kg of crystal methamphetamine and 170 liters of liquid methamphetamine in a warehouse on Laguna de los Hornos Street, Fraccionamiento Vistas del Lago. Meanwhile, in Zacatecas, a joint operation involving the Immediate Reaction Force of Zacatecas (FRIZ), the Mexican Army, the National Guard, and the State Attorney General's Office seized approximately 500 kg of methamphetamine from a major lab in the Sierra de Morones, municipality of Apozol. The Zacatecas operation, which involved helicopters and tactical units, targeted criminal groups linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). The seized methamphetamine is reported to have a significant impact on the operations of these criminal groups in the region. The facility in Zacatecas was equipped with reactors, gas tanks, and mixers, and authorities also confiscated 63,100 liters of various chemicals and 125 kg of caustic soda. The discoveries in Culiacan were made after investigations led teams to a warehouse on Laguna de los Hornos Street in Fraccionamiento Vistas del Lago. The drugs were found packed and ready for distribution. The precise timing of the seizure in Culiacan was not specified, but it was reported within the last 29 minutes. This report builds on previous activity in the region, including a large-scale operation in Eldorado, Sinaloa, on Sunday, October 26th, where the Mexican Navy targeted a high-ranking member of La Mayiza/MF, resulting in casualties and seized vehicles. Separately, on March 21st, federal forces dismantled a significant clandestine meth lab in Zacatecas, spread over 395,000 square meters, preventing the production of 27,930 kg of methamphetamine.
