In Culiacán, Sinaloa, the Mexican Army and FGR destroyed a property in La Higuera used as a clandestine synthetic drug laboratory, securing 898 grams of cocaine, 17.05 kilograms of methamphetamine, 15,325 kilograms of marijuana, 220 liters of chemical precursors, two long arms, five chargers and 35 containers, @foro_militar reported. Federal forces arrested Daniel Alfredo “N”, “El Cubano”, identified as leader of a Sinaloa Cartel cell and key distributor of synthetic drugs to the United States, who holds a provisional arrest warrant for extradition purposes, as stated in a post by @foro_militar. In Tijuana's García neighborhood on the old Tijuana-Tecate highway, the Mexican Army and National Guard seized 30 short weapons, 21 long arms and 26 chargers from a vehicle following a citizen report of armed men, according to @foro_militar. Navy, Mexican Army and State Security Secretariat (SSP) in Huetamo conducted an air and land operation with two search warrants across six homes, detaining 16 people linked to a criminal group and securing eight firearms, drugs, tactical equipment, five animals in captivity, three slot machines and four vehicles, @foro_militar posted. Mexican Army elements repelled an attack in Concordia, Sinaloa, detaining four hitmen and seizing two armored vehicles, while in San Ignacio, Sinaloa, soldiers killed one armed attacker and seized a weapon following a confrontation, as reported by @foro_militar. Additional actions included seizing a black Jeep truck from suspects in Guasave, Sinaloa.
