The Kurdistan Region Security Agency (Asayish) announced this morning that they have seized full control of the Lalezar Hotel and arrested all gunmen who confronted their forces, following clashes that resulted in casualties. The operation was conducted under judicial orders. The Asayish stated that the altercations began after the Lalezar gunmen resisted arrest and initiated firing at the security forces. The agency reported that at least three security force members were killed and 19 others were wounded during the confrontations. The Lalezar Hotel is identified as the residence of Lahur Sheikh Jangi. The Asayish claimed the operation was carried out based on judicial orders.
