A fire broke out at the DNO oilfield in the Kurdistan Region's northern Duhok province early Wednesday morning, resulting in thick black smoke. The fire followed a drone attack. A citizen in Mosul reported observing a drone south of the sky, stating it came from the direction of Duhok. Separately, a preliminary agreement has been reached between Erbil and Baghdad. This agreement stipulates that Erbil will hand over oil and non-oil revenues to Iraq in exchange for salaries. A spokesperson for the Kurdistan Regional Government communicated this development to The New Region and AVA.
