Israeli security forces arrested activist Hamza Al-Masri in the Ramallah area this morning between 8:35 AM and 9:05 AM UTC. The arrest is connected to a previous operation where a terror cell involved in rocket production was apprehended. Al-Masri was taken into custody following intelligence gathered during the earlier raid. Al-Masri's arrest follows a successful overnight operation by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Yamam, which dismantled a rocket-producing terror cell in the Ramallah area. During that operation, security forces discovered dozens of rockets, explosive devices, and production materials, including a lathe. Three suspects were arrested in that raid and transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation. The previous operation, which occurred overnight, is linked to a makeshift rocket launch from Naama village last week. The arrested suspects are believed to be involved in manufacturing and attempting to launch rockets into Judea and Samaria. This marks the first time such a cell has been captured in the central highlands of Judea and Samaria, according to previous reports.
