Previous reports from October 19th, 2025, indicated that two Hamas battalion commanders were killed in an attack in Nusirat, and the IDF warned Hamas operatives to evacuate territory east of the Yellow Line or face targeting following the deaths of two Israeli soldiers in a tunnel attack in Rafah. Earlier today, Israel reopened the Kerem Shalom and Kisufim crossings for aid trucks into Gaza. The IDF also reported engaging and firing upon two separate groups of Palestinian terror operatives who crossed the Yellow Line in the Shejaiya neighborhood of eastern Gaza City, stating these operatives posed an "imminent threat" to troops. In a similar incident, the IDF eliminated an armed terrorist cell that approached IDF forces in the Beit Lahia area of the northern Gaza Strip. Several Hamas figures, including Taj al-Din Elohidi, Yahya Al-Mabhouh, Abdullah Abu Al-Jabin, Ahmed Abu Sisi, and Mahdi Hussein Fayyad, were also reported killed in recent IDF strikes and operations.
