The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a massive offensive in Gaza City between 4:02 PM and 4:17 PM UTC on September 10th, 2025, targeting over 360 terrorist sites as part of the next stage of operation "Cars Aghansat 2." The Air Force conducted three waves of strikes, hitting infrastructure including reconnaissance sites, sniping locations, tunnel openings, weapons stores, and underground gathering points. The intensified strikes focused on tall buildings converted into military infrastructure, housing cameras, reconnaissance rooms, sniping positions, anti-armor missiles, and command and control complexes, according to an IDF statement posted by Avichay Adraee. An IDF statement, attributed to LTC Shoshani, reiterated that the designated humanitarian zone remains in Al-Mawasi and urged Gaza City residents to relocate there for safety, accusing Hamas of using misinformation and its people as human shields. The IDF maintains its conflict is with Hamas, not the people of Gaza.
