The IDF announced yesterday the recovery of the body of Ilan Weiss, 55, from Kibbutz Barry, who was murdered by Hamas on October 7. The operation to retrieve his body, along with that of another individual whose identity is not yet public, was conducted in central Gaza following intelligence gathered over recent weeks by the Shin Bet and Southern Command. Weiss's wife and daughter were kidnapped on October 7 and released after 50 days in captivity.
