Days before journalist Mohamed Salama was killed in strikes on Nasser Hospital, US contractors at a GHF site interrogated his source about a recent story concerning the killing of aid seekers, inquiring about the source's identity and whereabouts, according to a report. The interrogations took place prior to Salama's death, which occurred during the Nasser Hospital strikes. The report alleges that the contractors were seeking information related to Salama's recent reporting on the deaths of individuals seeking aid. Separately, scenes of destruction were reported from Al-Zawiya Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza City. An activist, Hamza Al-Masri, cautioned the public, stating, "We call on the whole of our people, not to go there, the area is still dangerous."
