The bodies of two Israeli hostages, Idan Shtivi and Ilan Weiss, were recovered in a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA) in Gaza. Shtivi, 28, who was held for 693 days, was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists from the Tel Gama area in southern Israel. The operation occurred on August 30th, as confirmed by the IDF.
