Palestinian Authority health ministry officials identified the Qabatiya casualty as Rayan Abu Mualla, 16, and stated his body is held by Israel. The incident occurred amid separate West Bank attacks on IDF soldiers, including another in Silat al-Harithiya around 7:16 PM UTC where troops killed Ahmed Zayoud, 22, after he threw an explosive device, per the IDF. No soldiers were injured in either case.
