Israeli forces apprehended a terror cell in the Ramallah area of the West Bank overnight, who were reportedly building rockets intended for launch at Israeli targets, the Israeli military announced earlier this week. The raid followed the discovery last week of a crude, warhead-less rocket in the Palestinian town of Kafr Ni’ma, which footage shows was launched several hundred meters as part of a test by the cell. During the overnight operation, IDF soldiers, Shin Bet officers, and police's Yamam unit raided a building in Kafr Ni’ma. According to the military, forces opened fire on the building, and three suspects emerged and were detained and handed over to the Shin Bet for questioning. Inside the building, troops discovered dozens of rocket parts, including two completed rockets without warheads, along with dozens of explosive devices and explosive material. The rockets and explosive material were destroyed by the military. The operation and discovery of the rocket parts are part of ongoing efforts by Israeli forces to counter terror cells in the West Bank. The previous report mentioned Israeli aircraft launching air strikes on Gaza City during the early hours of September 20th, 2025, at approximately 1:00 AM UTC, according to Quds News Network, though no direct connection to the Ramallah incident was stated.
