A United Nations-backed organization responsible for monitoring global hunger is set to declare a famine in Gaza City on Friday morning, according to documents obtained by The Daily Wire. This declaration comes amidst ongoing military operations and reports of civilian casualties. Unit 33 fighters, in collaboration with IDF fighters and under Shin Bet intelligence guidance, arrested two suspected terrorist activists in Ramallah yesterday. The suspects were apprehended en route to carry out an attack, following intelligence indicating their intentions and a previous arrest of other squad members last week. One suspect was found to be in possession of a gun, according to the Israeli Police. The arrested individuals were transferred for further investigation. Meanwhile, Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant stated yesterday that IDF programs for operations in Gaza have been approved, involving intense fire, resident removal, and maneuvering. Gallant declared that "the gates of hell will soon be opened on the heads of Merchers and Hamas in Gaza" unless Israeli conditions for ending the war, including the release of all hostages, are met. He added that Gaza's Hamas capital would become a "rescue and Hannon" if these conditions are not agreed upon. Separately, reports indicate that the U.S. and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), established to replace the UN as a primary aid distributor, has received $30 million in U.S. State Department approval. However, according to the UN and eyewitness accounts cited by CBS News, hundreds of Palestinians have been shot and killed by Israeli Defense Forces and "foreign military contractors" at or near GHF aid sites. Eyewitnesses further stated that personnel hired through American subcontractors are involved in securing these sites. The Telegraph also revealed that the UN-backed group is officially declaring famine in Gaza City for the first time. The specific timing of the famine declaration is Friday morning, as per documents obtained by The Daily Wire.
