Forces of the Israeli Defense Forces' 188th Brigade combat team operating in the southern Gaza Strip identified a terrorist who crossed the yellow line and approached the forces posing an immediate threat earlier this morning, the IDF stated on X at around 10:00 AM UTC. The Air Force immediately directed the elimination of the terrorist to remove the threat. The incident occurred over the past 90 minutes within the reporting window from 8:46 AM to 10:16 AM UTC on December 18, 2025, according to the IDF's official statement. IDF forces under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats, the statement added.
