Over the past hour, approximately 20 Hamas operatives were arrested near the European hospital area in Gaza yesterday, found with around 50 SIM cards. The suspects, who reportedly barricaded themselves in a house, surrendered and were taken to an investigative facility. Three additional individuals, identified as observers sent by Hamas to collect information on field forces, were also arrested in the vicinity of the European hospital. Separately, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu underwent comprehensive medical examinations last Friday at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. According to a spokesperson for Hadassah Medical Center, the results were normal, with the exception of a respiratory tract infection that has been treated. The spokesperson stated there was no danger of infection to those around the prime minister. Al-Arab channel, citing its sources, reported that Hamas's military arm is expected to deliver more spaces tonight. This comes amid ongoing developments in Gaza, where previous reports indicated the return of Palestinian bodies showing signs of abuse and the arrest of other individuals by Israeli forces. Previous reports from October 15th, 2025, detailed that Israel stated the fourth body handed over by Hamas overnight was not an Israeli hostage but identified as a Palestinian resident of Jericho. Senior Israeli officials reiterated that negotiations had not advanced to Stage B, emphasizing the necessity of completing Step A, the return of all bodies. Turkey had also dispatched 81 search and rescue personnel to Gaza to assist in locating bodies, while the Rafah Crossing remained closed.
