Adraee posted images intended to show open areas for shelters and tents, asserting that Hamas is using residents as human shields for its objectives and exposing them to danger. He emphasized that following evacuation instructions is for the preservation of lives. The IDF's statements come amid ongoing military operations in Gaza City, including previous strikes on a high-rise building identified as a Hamas command center. Earlier today, the IDF struck a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed Hamas intelligence gathering and observation posts after issuing an evacuation warning between 7:30 AM and 8:01 AM UTC. The IDF stated that terrorist organizations systematically violate international law by using civilian institutions for military purposes. Separately, a post by activist Hamza Al-Masri indicated that the "occupation" fired upon and bombed the Alawite artillery from the "Jerusalem" building, east of Gaza City.
