The meeting, part of a U.S. delegation visit, focused on lifting sanctions, promoting investment, and facilitating the return of displaced persons. During the reporting window, the delegation, which included Ilham Ahmed, Rohlat Afrin, Ghassan al-Yousef, and Abed Hamed Al-Mahbash, engaged in talks aimed at fostering a safe environment for investment and development in Syria. Both sides reiterated their commitment to the partnership between the International Coalition and the SDF in counter-terrorism efforts against ISIS and in bolstering regional stability and security, ensuring Syria's territorial integrity is maintained. The March 10 Agreement was previously signed between Syrian transitional President Ahmad al-Shar’a and General Mazloum Abdi.
