Separately, reports suggest Russia may be preparing for a large-scale drone attack, with approximately 1,000 "Shahanedov and Gerber" drones accumulated, and has deployed multiple bomber and fighter aircraft. On the ground, Russian forces have reportedly expanded their control area south of Tischenkovka in the Kupyansk area, advancing approximately 2.5 kilometers. Ukrainian forces reported downing two enemy aircraft, four Zala drones, two "Supercam" drones, and one "Cube" drone using their own drones. The eighth German-financed IRIS-T SLM fire unit is reportedly on its way to Ukraine, according to Ukraine's Ambassador to Germany, Oleksandr Shchyrytsya, though this statement could not be independently confirmed.
