Ukraine's star deep-strike drone company, Fire Point, is under investigation by the country's anti-corruption agency over concerns of misleading the government on pricing and deliveries, five sources told the Kyiv Independent yesterday. The probe comes as Fire Point's "Flamingo" cruise missile, developed in nine months after the U.S. declined to provide Tomahawks, is now in serial production. As reported by The Economist, the "Flamingo" missile is built 90% domestically, featuring a fiberglass body and an AI-25 engine. Production currently runs at one missile per day, with expectations to increase to seven daily by October. The cost per unit is under €1 million. Separately, the "Ukraina" hotel in Sloviansk, Donetsk oblast, was damaged within the past 24 hours by Russian army strikes, according to zarGEOINT on X. While some observers view the "Flamingo" missile as overhyped, others believe it has the potential to penetrate Russian air defenses.
