Alerts were issued for Dnipro and Kamianske as threats to Mirgorod, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and likely Poltava, were reported to continue. This period saw continued Ukrainian drone operations, with previous reports indicating attacks on Russian oil infrastructure in the Samara and Saratov regions overnight. Ukrainian forces claimed responsibility for striking oil refineries and a pumping station, causing fires. The previous day also saw Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Russian oil pipeline pumping stations. Amidst this heightened aerial activity, Italian NATO fighters escorted three Russian MiG-31 aircraft out of Estonian airspace on September 20th for violating the country's airspace over the Gulf of Finland.
