The 14th Regiment of the Ukrainian Special Boat Service (SBS) confirmed today, September 9th, that it struck the "Varorovo" Transneft facility in Penkin, Volodymyriv region on September 7th, according to an update from commander 'Magyar' on social media. Satellite imagery released today, September 9th, confirmed damage to two fuel tanks at the facility, located at coordinates 56.1764532, 40.9633522. The oil pumping station supplied fuel to the Moscow ring oil pipeline. This incident occurred amidst reports of aviation missile danger in Crimea and Sevastopol, with strategic aircraft preparing to launch Western missiles, and aviation missile danger in Azovye Krasnodar Territory. These developments follow previous reports from September 7th detailing the drone attacks on the Russian fuel depot in Penkin, and ongoing military equipment transfers by Russian forces towards the front lines. Previous reports also indicated the Russian Ministry of Defense was reportedly recruiting individuals with HIV and hepatitis for new military regiments, with potential deliveries of Skyranger air defense systems to Ukraine having been discussed in earlier periods. Rheinmetall announced yesterday that it will sign a contract with Ukraine this week for the delivery of an undisclosed number of Skyranger self-propelled anti-aircraft guns (SPAAGs), valued at a three-digit million sum, with deliveries scheduled to begin this year.
