Warsaw's Modlin Airport and Warsaw's Chopin Airport were closed due to "unplanned military activity related to ensuring state security." The Polish Operational Command stated that ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems are at peak readiness. This activity follows reports from Ukrainian Air Force channels indicating approximately 55 UAVs were in the air, with a significant number heading towards or through the Kyiv region and several more directed towards Poland. Ukrainian Air Force channels also issued warnings of UAV threats to Lutsk, Lviv, and Kyiv, and reported drone activity in the north of Ternopil region heading southwest.
