These developments follow reports from approximately an hour prior, indicating shock UAV launches from Chaudy, Primorsko-Akhtarskaya, and Guards in Crimea, and an hour before that, Senator Lindsey Graham's statement on September 14th, 2025, proposing sanctions on countries facilitating Russian oil sales, suggesting existing measures have not deterred Russia. The French Air and Space Force confirmed the deployment of three French Rafale jets to Poland on September 14th, 2025, as part of NATO's Operation "Eastern Sentinel" to defend against Russian drone intrusions. Earlier in the day, Poland was reported to be considering the establishment of an air exclusion zone, a move requiring NATO and EU consensus, amid widespread drone activity. The Ukrainian Air Force had also reported ongoing drone activity in the central and southern Chernihiv region and in the western Sumy region, with enemy tactical aviation activity noted in an eastern direction.
