Poland has closed all railway border crossings with Belarus, according to a report from NOELreports this morning. The announcement comes amidst ongoing rail disruptions in Russia's Leningrad Oblast, where a locomotive pulling 15 tankers derailed, halting traffic and impacting commuter trains. Separately, an electric locomotive derailed in the Gatchina district, resulting in the death of the train operator. In the Luzhsky district of Leningrad Oblast, three freight cars derailed on the Stroganovo–Mshinskaya line, the governor's office confirmed. Sappers are on site investigating the incident, which has disrupted rail traffic, including Siverskaya–Luga electric trains. The previous report on September 14th, 2025, noted Ukrainian drone attacks targeting the Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery in the same region, with one drone downed and another destroyed, causing minor damage. Meanwhile, new footage confirms Ukrainian forces are advancing west of Volodymyrivka on the Dobropillia axis. A Russian unit remains encircled near Kucheriv Yar, with reinforcements attempting to reach them facing the risk of being cut off. The gray area near Volodymyrivka-Mayak has expanded during this period.
