In a separate development reported during this window, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Russia used almost 6,900 drones in mass attacks on Ukraine during September, including over 3,600 Shaheds. The current wave of attacks follows earlier reports of Ukrainian drone activity in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, including Novorossiysk and Sochi, between 10:35 PM and 11:05 PM UTC on October 2nd, which led to airport closures.
