Paratroopers of Ukraine's 81st Separate Air Assault Slobozhanska Brigade destroyed a Russian infantry fighting vehicle carrying a landing force near Serebryanka on December 23, 2025, over the past hour from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. UTC, according to a brigade statement. The destruction halted an enemy advance attempt toward Siversk. The brigade reported that Russian forces tried to slip through the perimeter zone using heavy armored vehicles on the southern edge of the Serebryanka settlement to reach Siversk. Ukrainian paratroopers detected and eliminated the vehicle. The 81st Brigade stated its pilots do not allow Russian forces to deliver resources to Siversk and surrounding areas.
