On the night of September 15, 2025, Russia launched 84 drones, including "Gerani-2/Harpia-A1" models, and three ballistic missiles targeting Ukraine. Four specialists from the State Emergency Service sustained injuries and were hospitalized, according to a report from X user Maks_NAFO_FELLA. These attacks occurred as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated his call for NATO to intercept Russian drones over Ukraine. He stated on X at 7:24 AM UTC, "To save lives, and protect Europe, intercept Russian drones above Ukraine today - rather than above us tomorrow!" This plea follows similar sentiments from Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, who suggested Ukraine should respond by striking "painful points of the Russian Federation" due to Russia's continued attacks. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, had previously threatened full-scale war against NATO countries if they intercepted Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Ukraine. Earlier on September 15th, French Rafale fighters with nuclear capabilities were deployed to Minsk Mazowiecki Air Base in Poland as part of NATO's Operation "Eastern Sentinel." Meanwhile, basic general military training continues at the training center of the event "West," with troops acquiring necessary battlefield skills regardless of weather conditions, according to a post from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on X.
