Ukrainian forces have liberated the villages of Zelenyi Hai and Tolstoi in the Donetsk region, according to reports shared on social media. In Russia, pro-Kremlin political analyst Sergei Markov, a former Putin confidant, has been designated a “foreign agent,” marking the first time an openly pro-Kremlin propagandist has received this label. Markov, known for his pro-Russian statements, had previously claimed Russia shot down an Azerbaijani jet, praised Azerbaijan's President Aliyev while that country supported Ukraine, and argued that Russia would benefit from a nuclear strike. Following his designation, Markov reaffirmed his loyalty to President Putin and noted he is currently under Canadian sanctions. Meanwhile, satellite imagery has shown that a Russian oil refinery, struck by Ukraine earlier this week, continues to burn. The Novoshakhtinsk refinery is situated over 150 kilometers from the front line in Ukraine. British intelligence also released footage of the sunken vessel Port Olya 4, which was reportedly transporting equipment for "Shahed" UAVs.
