A Ukrainian drone struck the Novo-Ufimsky oil refinery in Ufa, Bashkiria, earlier today, September 13th, according to reports from Exilenova+ and the Air Force of Ukraine. The facility specializes in crude oil processing and the production of various petroleum products, with a processing capacity of approximately 7.4 million tons of raw materials annually. Footage shared on social media platforms, including X, shows the moment of the attack and further imagery from the Bashneft Novo-ufimsky oil refinery. The Air Force of Ukraine also indicated the use of managed aviation bombs with hostile tactical aviation targeting the Donetsk region. This incident follows recent geopolitical statements, including President Donald Trump's reiteration of conditions for sanctioning Russia, requiring all NATO allies to halt Russian oil purchases and implement their own sanctions. Denmark has also announced an additional $375 million in aid to Ukraine. In parallel, Ukrainian intelligence reported Russia's plans to produce nearly 2,500 high-precision missiles in 2025, alongside increased production of other military hardware. Belarusian-Russian Zapad-2025 exercises have also been observed near the Polish border.
