The Polish Embassy in Minsk has urgently advised Polish citizens to leave Belarus by all available means due to the "risk of unforeseen circumstances," according to a statement shared on X on September 25th. The embassy recommended that citizens not delay their departure and plan their routes in advance. This advisory comes amid escalating tensions between Russia and NATO, with recent reports indicating that European envoys warned Russia during a Moscow meeting earlier this week that NATO is prepared to respond to further airspace violations with lethal force. During the tense meeting, which aimed to deescalate tensions, a Russian diplomat informed European envoys that Russia's alleged incursions into NATO airspace were a response to Ukrainian strikes on Crimea. The diplomat stated that these Crimean operations would have been impossible without NATO support, leading Russia to consider itself already in confrontation with Europe, as reported by sources speaking with Bloomberg. These diplomatic exchanges follow reports of Ukrainian drone activity near the Kerch area and the Taman Peninsula on September 25th, which resulted in two ground explosions. While one drone was reportedly shot down and air defense missiles were fired, the movement of vehicles on the Crimean bridge was temporarily blocked due to air defense operations. "Anxiety by UAVs remain, take care of yourself and loved ones" was stated regarding the Kerch area and Crimean bridge. In related developments, a Ukrainian Air Force Patriot air defense position near Svitlohirske in Dnipro was reportedly struck yesterday by an Iskander-M ballistic missile, destroying its AN/MPQ-65 search and track radar. Separately, Ukraine established diplomatic relations with Papua New Guinea on September 25th. Previous reports also indicated Ukrainian shelling in Russia's Bryansk region, which caused civilian casualties, including a child, in the village of Belaya Berezka.
