Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's plane was unable to land in Moscow due to a UAV attack, waited nearly an hour, and was diverted to Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg, TASS reported Thursday at around 9:30 AM UTC citing the Baza Telegram channel. As of 11:30 Moscow time (8:30 UTC), the plane had not yet taken off from St. Petersburg, according to air traffic control sources cited by TASS. Pashinyan was traveling to attend a meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council in Moscow. In separate statements reported by Nexta_tv on X during the same period, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the Kyiv regime "cannot and does not represent the interests of Novorossiya, Donbas, and of course Crimea." He added that dragging out the war is a matter of political and possibly physical survival for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
