The Air Force of Ukraine reported a threat of ballistic weapons from the south and multiple drone movements across the country between 9:02 PM UTC and 9:32 PM UTC on September 15th, 2025. Specifically, a UAV was detected in the north of the Odessa region heading towards Vinnytsia, and another UAV was observed in the Cherkasy region with a course towards the Kyiv region. Dnipro Alerts also indicated a "Purple area" of ballistic threats from the south. During this 30-minute reporting window, the Air Force of Ukraine also noted threats of "shock UAVs from the south" in the Kyiv region, specifically the Obukhov and Belotserkivskyi districts. Additionally, "Rozvidka Ukrainy" reported a minimum of 7 Shahed drones originating from the Kirovograd region and moving towards Zvenigorodka, likely transiting to the Kyiv region. Further drone activity was reported in the Mykolaivshchina region, with 8 groups observed along the border with Kirovohrad in the area of Fraternal, and 5 from Tokarivka along the border with Odessa region in the direction of Domanivka. Two UAVs were also reported between Mykolaivka and Lyubashivka in the Donetsk region. Earlier in the day, Ukrainian forces were reported to be holding against Russian advances, with minimal territorial gains for Russia despite significant personnel losses, according to an assessment from September 15th.
