Ukrainian Air Force reports indicate ongoing drone activity across Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions between 8:17 PM and 8:31 PM UTC on September 14th, 2025. Specifically, five drones were observed west of Dikanka and one drone moved towards Chutovo from the west in the Poltava region. In the Sumy region, one drone was reported moving towards Sumy from the west, and another moved from Okhtyrka towards the Poltava region. Three drones were also reported passing a checkpoint in the Chernihiv region. Further details from "Розвідка України" indicated that an Orion drone was likely in the Loknya area of Kursk Oblast. "Розвідка України" also reported that the Kramatorsk district of Donetsk region was under fire from guided aviation bombs. The Ukrainian Air Force additionally reported two "Easier" UAVs in the eastern suburbs of Poltava, moving on a southern course. These developments follow earlier reports from September 14th, 2025, detailing multiple groups of Ukrainian drones active near Poltava and Sumy regions, with some heading towards Reshetilovka and others taking a southwestern course. The Ukrainian Air Force had also reported drones in the western Kharkiv region heading towards Poltava, and in the central Chernihiv region, constantly changing course, with a threat of ballistic missile use from the northeast. France had also confirmed the deployment of three French Rafale jets to Poland on September 14th, 2025, as part of NATO's Operation "Eastern Sentinel".
