The Sudanese army conducted a series of targeted air strikes on Rapid Support Forces (RSF) locations, including bombing the Domaya camp near Nyala in South Darfur, during the reporting window of October 1st, 2025, between 5:07 PM and 6:37 PM UTC. The army also reported carrying out air projection operations in El Fasher and qualitative strikes in areas such as Jaqo Jaqo, Karkar, and Domaya. These operations occurred amidst ongoing conflict in the Darfur region. The bombing of the Domaya camp specifically targeted RSF militia near Nyala, South Darfur, according to a statement on X. The army's actions in El Fasher followed earlier drone strikes and artillery shelling by Sudanese armed forces on RSF positions throughout the day, which had reportedly weakened RSF capabilities. Previous reports from October 1st indicated that eight civilians were killed in El Fasher on the same day when an RSF drone targeted a gathering in the "First Class" neighborhood. This incident followed RSF bombing of international organization headquarters in the same area. Prime Minister Kamel Idris had also stated during UN General Assembly meetings that the UN was prepared to deliver air support to El Fasher and called for the lifting of the city's siege.
